Default Server 2003 - Error Deleting files on Windows 2000 Server

When I try to delete a File from a windows 2003 Terminal
Services session that I access from a network share (a
UNC share or a mapped drive) that is located on a Windows
2000 server, i get the below error message

Cannot delete File name: It is being used by another
    person or program.

Close any programs that might be using the file and try
    again.

The file is not in use and is not being used by any other
programs, the file isnt locked in any way and is not in
the open files listing on the doamin controller through
computer management. I can delete the same file from a
windows 2000 machine or a windows 98 machine but not with
windows 2003, the user in question has full permissions
to the directory and files. It seams to me there is a bug
with the 2003 software, is there a fix for this yet?

    Regards
    Mark

This only seems to affect office doents (xls, doc, ppt etc), as if
I create a txt file or a bmp file for instance these can be deleted
    every time.

The issue is very intermittant, as sometimes the office files will
delete, but i'd say 85% of the time I get the error message as above.

Your help would be gratefully appreciated.

    Thanks, Mark
