Server Down
Hello all,
Does anyone know if there's a CF tag or function out there that I can use to find out if the server (CF strictly) is down or hanging?
Thank you very much in advance!

Re: Server Down
huh?
if the server is down how could a tag run?
best use some sort of monitoring tool, i use Servers Alive which checks stuff
like HTTP requests, the process etc and then emails/IMs me if there's a problem

Re: Server Down
You can utilize the system probes to verify that your .cfm pages are processing
within a reasonable timeframe. Please see the Live Docs at
http://livedocs.macromedia.com/coldfusion/7/htmldocs/00001721.htm#1217368 .

Only in ColdFusion Enterprise though!
If the server is down or hung, I couldn't see that that a probe could still
operate! Unless you were using cross instance probes to test another instance
perhasps?
