session/btns - Coldfusion - Advanced Techniques

ok have a Admin page where organisationName is remembered from the previous page (session.Organ=#URL.OrganName#) what i need to do is when a user clicks <a href="AdminEdit.cfm">#FacilityName#</a> from the Admin Page (which is a list of facilities that the organisation owns) it takes them to the AdminEdit Page showing the record details of the facility clicked i know i need a session but not sure how to do it from a normal href...

    page (session.Organ=#URL.OrganName#) what i need to do is when a user clicks

    <a href="AdminEdit.cfm">#FacilityName#</a> from the Admin Page (which is a

    i know i need a session but not sure how to do it from a normal href

    It appears that you already have your session variable defined. You just have
    to refer to it in your adminedit.cfm code.

    but when i click the <a href="AdminEdit.cfm">#FacilityName#</a>
    i just get a blank page also i have tried
    isdefined('URL.Facility1'): <cfoutput>#isdefined('URL.Facility1')#</cfoutput>
    <cfabort>

    and i get NO as a result

    Try looking for your session variable instead of a url variable.
