Session scope not working from localhost - Macromedia ColdFusion

I installed CF7 recently, and have not been able to get the session scpoe to work properly - Session variables work from any remote machine when I access the server, but no matter what I try, when working from the server itself (accessing the cfm files via 127.0.0.1 or 'localhost' or it's IP) I get an error saying that the variable is not defined in the session scope. Example: Use cfset to set a session variable in page1.cfm, then use cflocation to bounce user to page2.cfm, where the session variable is called. Call page1.cfm from any other machine and it ...

Default Session scope not working from localhost

I installed CF7 recently, and have not been able to get the session scpoe to
work properly - Session variables work from any remote machine when I access
the server, but no matter what I try, when working from the server itself
(accessing the cfm files via 127.0.0.1 or 'localhost' or it's IP) I get an
error saying that the variable is not defined in the session scope.

    Example:
Use cfset to set a session variable in page1.cfm, then use cflocation to
bounce user to page2.cfm, where the session variable is called. Call page1.cfm
from any other machine and it works fine. Call it from the server and it errors
    out.

    Also note:
I used cfdump to dump the entire session scope in page2.cfm, and I notice that
the CFID, CFTOKEN, and SESSIONID variables are changing with each page refresh.
It's setting a new cookie every refresh for some reason. This is happening with
Firebird and IE both. I am assuming this is a browser issue, but want to ask
around to make sure it's not something related to the server and CF7 itself.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Default Re: Session scope not working from localhost

If the cookies are changing for each request, then the browser isn't passing
the 'old' values along. Since it is only for localhost, I would definitely
    look at the browser config.
