Session Variables in JSP
Hi I have a fairly simple problem that I cannot solve for some reason. I am
designing a website in JSP. I have a login page and when a user logs in I want
to be able to display a message Welcome [User]. So basically what I need to do
is store whatever is typed into the username field in a session variable and
then display it on the loggedin page. I got this working las year for ASP but
for some reason I just cant get it woorking right now. Id appreciate any help
Thanks Brian

Re: Session Variables in JSP
Hi,
have you tried setting a textbox to
session('MM_Username')
If you are using dreamweavers login method it automatically creates a session variable with that name, give it a go
