"Set layer visibility" can't be reset?
I'm trying to create two buttons in an exported PDF.
The default view is the "Book Layout" layer. A visible, non-printing button will direct you to the "Printable Page" layer. On that layer is an identical button pointing back to the Book Layout layer.
In the Button Properties dialog, I ask the Mouse Up trigger to invoke "Set layer visibility," which immediately reports this text: "The target layer states of the selection action will be set to the current state."
But I don't want the current layers state. But if I change the eye icons in the Layers tab, my Button Properties dialog goes gray. I have to reactivate the layer I don't want activated to proceed with editing the button.
Does that make sense? How is this done?

Matthew,
If you are exporting a pdf with buttons, it would be best to ask in
the product forum that corresponds to the original application used to
create the file in from which you are exporting. For example, ID does
not use the same mechanisms as Acrobat.
