Setting up test server for Mac!

[weavingdream]

Can anyone help me with settign up the test server that you are required to set up to use flash for Mac.

I have tried and it is not working.

You are not required to set up a testing server when using Flash.

So you do not need a test server when you try to preview your page in
dreamweaver? Becuase it always says you need to specifie a test server?

I thought this was the problem but I gues not, so when I try to insert
interactive images and then Flash text into a layer all i get is a grey box
with the flash f symbloy in the box and the text I typed does not show up?

Can anyone help please?

You only need a testing server when you are building dynamic pages, i.e.,
pages that contain server scripting of some sort (ASP, ASP.Net, PHP, CF,
etc.).

Do you mean in DW's design view? You would need to select the box and press
the Play button on the Property inspector. Do you mean in Preview? You
would need to download and install the Flash player plugin for the browser.
