Default Shadows possible by 2 color prints

Hello I dont know how I can do this.

I have to make a print with only two colors :
    black and cyan.
So I create the poster with grayscale-tiffs and colorize them with cyan and
    others with black.
Now I used shadows. Black shadows. And this shadows fall on the
    cyan-pictures.

    1. Can I give this to a printing house.
    2. Can I make a eps of this file and it works in 2 color print.
    3. And how can I check that everything is ok.

I work on PC. Maybe it is interesting.

    thanks

you can print the separation printfiles and distill them with acrobat distiller to view how artwork separates.

ive heard a rumour that acrobat distiller 6 has feature called separation preview, you may try to view a composite pdf that way also.

If you mean using the FHMX Shadow Effect, no. Not as you've constructed the
document and wish it to print.

FreeHand's raster effects are for RGB projects such as web images. When
printed to Postscript CMYK separations, the RGB black in the Shadow Effect
will print to C, M and Y plates where there are colored objects below the
shadow. The shadow will not appear as you wish on the Black plate. (I just
    tested this.)

Test by printing separations to a Postscript printer or by printing
separations to a Postscript file and distilling with Acrobat Distiller (part
    of Adobe Acrobat).

What software do you have? I would build this in Photoshop which gives one
    control of the CMYK channels.

.... note, that while actually printing the separations is best, you can
simple access the print dialog, select a PS printer, and then go to the
setup dialog to view the ink usage.

If your document will successfully separate with just the two inks you will
see only those two ink colors listed. If others are listed then something
you've done in the document (used a Raster Effect, used a Lens fill, ...)
has generated additional colors that require additional inks.
