Sharing CS files with earlier versions

I just purchased Illustrator CS as well as InDesign CS.

I'm wondering if clients with earlier versions of these programs will be able to open files created from the latest CS versions.

For example... Can a person who has Illutrator 10 on their system open up one of my native Illustrator 11 files on their PC?

Yes, if you export to a legacy version. Otherwise, no.

You can go to file>Export>Illustrator Legacy and select the version you want
