Sharing distiller as a printer
I'm trying to share out the distiller printer on a communal networked PC but each time I print to the printer from another PC I can't seem to locate where the PDF file is outputed to.
Within the 'ports' tab of the distiller printer properties page the port is setup correctly but points to c:\winnt\profiles\allusers\desktop
I've tried adding a new port specifying a different file location...but no success.
Any ideas?

Re: Sharing distiller as a printer
The Distiller Printer is not technically supported in a shared environment, just have the workstations use their local copies of Distiller Printer.

Re: Sharing distiller as a printer
Thanks for the quick response. :)
Just out of interest... do you know this as a fact?
I have been able to get a *.prn file created but this doesn't equate to anything if you haven't got distiller installed locally.

Re: Sharing distiller as a printer
Install Distiller locally.
Every possible user of the networked Distiller has to have an Acrobat license, anyway.
