Sharing dsl bandwidth equally on LAN
I'm having trouble sharing a 1mbps DSL line among 2 or 3 internet
sharing machines on the LAN. Typically, the first machine to start a
bandwith-intensive download seems to hog almost all the bandwidth so
that other machines get bogged down. This doesn't happen if I make two
connections on a single Mac - the load then balances itself pretty
evenly between both downloads. So is there a way to stop the first guy
in the queue hogging the service?
Problem occurs with two Macs or more or with a Mac and a PC, on a
wireless connection or wired. TIA.
