Shockwave 11 vs. Windows Vista Home Premium
I have Windows Vista Home Premium and just installed shockwave 11-it says that
it successfully installed, but when I attempt to play any type of game, I get
no where. I have tried to do the manual installation offline, but still the
same thing happens when going back and trying to play a game again. I have
done the updates for Windows-as this is a new computer and I did them the
minute I got it out of the box. Any thoughts or suggestions, other than burning
my copy of Vista and going back to ol' faithful XP?:confused;

Re: Shockwave 11 vs. Windows Vista Home Premium
:smile; I had the same problem with Vista. I tried uninstalling from the
control panel and then reinstalling but still the problem persisted. I then
uninstalled using the uninstaller on the Shockwave player website and
reinstalled. It now works fine. It is worth a try if you haven't already done
this.
