I have downloaded the uninstallers for shockwave and flash, I uninstalled
shockwave and flash player and reinstalled them. I went to shockwave.com and
tried to play some games. The first one played fine, but the next one did not,
I had errors, something about not having xtra (havok physics scene).
Please help

After receiving complaints about our new Flash website content, I discover that
the computers had the Shockwave Player installed instead of the Shockwave Flash
Player.

I was 'Shocked', when I was able to reproduce this problem by removing and
re-installed the Flash Player several times and to my amazement, Shockwave
Player was installed in place of the Shockwave Flash Player from the Adobe
website. I noticed that this occurs when the ActiveX warning does not appear on
the Explorer browser bar, but the installation seem to be complete.

Has anyone else run into this problem?

the shockwave say it is installing but is not

:confused; I am also having the same issue, mines is windows xp and IE8.
Windows add &remove window shows that shockwave is installed but i cannot see
it in "program files/adobe" folder or start->all programs -> adobe or it is not
running .swf .
while installing it throws some error that has "memory cannot be written" with
some memory address"
i have tried steps in

link but not working. wasting 2 days of time on this. sucks..!
