Don't know where else to post this.
Many users of Shockwave.com (including me) are experiencing download problems.
I have a cable connection and have no problem downloading files quickly from
other sites (including Adobe). With Shockwave.com, however, game transfer rates
regularly slow to app. 8kb/s.
I have contacted Shockwave.com about this, noting that the problem is
widespread (some broadband users report 4 hr. download times), and they respond
by instructing me to uninstall, then reinstall YOUR products.
I've done this, and there's been no improvement.
It seems clear that this is a problem with their site (the contact point is
atom games), but their responses only address your products, implying the
problem is with Adobe.
Perhaps you could look into this (if you want, check out the game reviews at
Shockwave Unlimited to see how many people are experiencing this) and ask
Shocwave what's going on.:frown;
