Default Shockwave crashes system in limited user account

I am having a problem with shockwave content playing on my system. I have
followed every single step in this article kb403082, except for formatting my
system and reinstalling windows and shockwave alone (atomic bomb option). I
couldn't do step 5 completely because there is no FlexNet Licensing Service
    listed.

The problem is that when I am in my admin account everything runs fine. When
I install, play or open an application with Shockwave content (ie, Bookshelf
2000), everything plays nicely. When I log into my Limited User Account (Power
User option when created) and either open Bookshelf 2000 or open a website in
IE7 with shockwave content then the entire system freezes and I have to reboot.

I don't understand what it is about the limited user account that is causing
this, but it makes me believe that Shockwave needs to access some system level
component that is blocked in a limited user account and it is causing the crash.

    Thanks for any help,
    Sashi

Default Re: Shockwave crashes system in limited user account

Wow, I just fixed my problem. I had the latest drivers for the video card, but
NVIDIA just released a new set on the 22nd. So, I just downloaded them and
installed the new 181.22 and that fixed it. I don't know if it was the new
driver or just the process of installing the new driver. I wonder what would
have happened if I reinstalled the same 180.48 drivers?

    Either way problem solved. Odd.
