? Shockwave Outside of \Windows\System32
Does anyone know of a way to get the Shockwave Player to work outside of
\Windows\System32? I really don?t like having third party apps in there
and would like to put it somewhere else. I have successfully moved the Flash
Player to another directory, but Shockwave seems to be hard-coded to look
in the system directory. :disgust; For example, in 11.0.3.472,
NP32DSW.dll seems to be hard-coded at 0x6C001330 to call
GetSystemDirectory to derive the path to Plugin.dll. :mad;
I would rather avoid having to patch the DLL to get it to knock it off. Is
there a way to use Shockwave as an XPT instead, like with Flash?
Thanks a lot.
