Shockwave Player Not Working... PLEASE HELP!

Every single time I try to go into something like a game or something else that
requires the use of shockwave player, a screen pops up that says somehting like
'you must restart your computer in order for shockwave installation to be
complete.' The thing is, I have already downloaded and restarted the player.
So each time I get this message, I restart my computer and when I go back to
where I wanted to go, the same message keeps coming up over and over again, no
matter how many times I restart. What is going on here, and how can I fix it?

Im having the SAME exact problem, its really annoying. ive already uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it just keeps re-occuring
