Shooting motorsport @ night?
Hi all
I'd much appreciate some advice on taking night time shots of rally cars
with lots of lights. Can the D70 cope with the onboard automatics or do I
have to go all manual.
I used to use a Leica M3 (years ago - still got it (;<)) ). and ISTR that I
used a small flash on the camera and a large slave thyristor trigger
controlled. The slave was set to full power and the small flash on the
camera was used to "top up" and used the auto sensor to expose to proper
level of illumination for the shot. I think that's about right, but many
years ago.
What is the best way with the D70 - built in flash & a couple of small(ish)
flash guns, please?
Many thanks
U W
