Shopping Cart Recommendations
I've been asked to put together an e-commerce site for a client. I have been
researching various cart packages and am down to the offering of CartWeaver,
WebAssist, and InterAKT.
They all seem to have the basics and get good marks from newsgroups ect.
WebAssist and InterAKT have more extensive bundles (or looks like it) but of
course are more expensive. I don't mind paying for a more full-featured pack
if it allows better and comprehensive integration. Hopefully this site will
take off, and I will have to live with the solution for some time.
If you have made a similar buying decision, can you discuss the reasons you
went with one package over another?
Feature sets?
Service?
Documentation?
Other?
Also if you have found some pitfalls, please discuss those.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Re: Shopping Cart Recommendations
Hi Steven,
There's an excellent list of Carts to be found at...
http://www.dwfaq.com/Resources/e-Commerce/default.asp
Naturally I'm a little biased toward the first on listed, but all listed
have a pretty good reputation with the Macromedia Development community.
Hope this helps.

pay attention to security issue and avoid low cost solution using url to
pass "sensitive" parameters (instead of session variable) and/or neglegting
security codes coming back from paiement company.
