Show Desktop icon?

Hello all,
I think I have, what will be an easy question for you guys/gals. Recently my
"show desktop" icon disappeared on my task bar and I'm not sure how to get
it back on the task bar.

I just want to be able to close multiple windows at once and go directly to
my desktop by clicking the "show desktop" icon in my task bar.

Any help will be appreciated.

Michael,

Thanks you for the help, but :)

I was able to create the "show desktop" icon and drag it to the task bar,
but it left the "show desktop" icon on my desktop also. When I dragged the
icon from my desktop to the trash...the "show desktop" icon on my taskbar
would no longer work. It would say it was still searching for "desktop.scf".
I assume this error message is because the file I used to creat the shortcut
was deleted.

Is there a way I can have things the way they were? I'd like the "show
desktop icon on my taskbar and not have to have another icon on my desktop.
