    Default show frame edges-selecting color

    Hello all,

I am converting a Quark magazine template to indesign and was wondering how to change the frame edge color when "show frame edges" is selected (it's currently set to red and it's driving me nuts!). I've looked all through my preferences but I'm not seeing it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The edges colour is determined by the layer on which the object resides. You may move the object to a different layer or change the colour of the offending layer. Look at the (would you believe) the layers palette.

    Good luck.

The Yellow color for layer 5 is my pet peeve. Can't stand that color for a layer (too light). I'd love for a way to remove it or at least shove it to the bottom of the layer color list (instead of layer 5). Sure, I can change it, but I have more than 5 layers often enough that it means I have to change it for virtually every document.

    Oh well. ^_~

Create a template which is an empty page with the layers pre-created the way you like (but with nothing on them). When you're ready to start a new project open your template.
