shutdown during spell check
When I run the spell check on a document, the checker brings up a word, usually a name, that is not in the dictionary. Asks me if I want to add. I say yes, add to the dictionary. Program accepts my "add" command, thinks about 10 seconds, then ID CS shuts down. When I fire up again and reopen the document file, IDCS says the file is damaged. But it does not seem to be damaged when I reopen it -- nothing apparent to me.
If I try the spell check again and instead say "do not add" the word to the dictionary, I can go on and continue the spell check and IDCS does not shut down. Unless I "add" as described above.
Here are my particulars from my bug report, to which Adobe says they could not reproduce my bug. But I can...
I the meantime I also re-installed IDCS, and then also deleted the preference files. Did not fix the problem.

Re: shutdown during spell check
Not sure what "ram: 130" means, but if it means 128 Mb, that's pretty borderline for anything on W2K. If you have 128 Mb, I'd bump it up to at least 512 Mb, but that may or may not help your specific problem.
