Re: Shutdown log location for server '03
Hello,
From FAQ:
http://www2.ilopia.com/Windows+Server+2003/FAQ/General/63.aspx
We are using Shutdown Event Tracker to specify a reason for every
reboot. But, where are these messages stored, so I can read them?
They are stored in the System Event log, with ID 1074. To list only
these messages, follow these steps:
a.. Go to Start, and then Run
b.. Type: eventvwr and press ENTER
c.. Click on System in the left pane
d.. Select View->Filter
e.. In the Event ID text box, type 1074
f.. Click Ok
