Re: Signature Error !!!!!!!!
Hi Chris,
The signitures at my company are self signed. I got the same error in Adobe 6. I made another Digital ID for the new supervisor and the error went away.
In Adobe:
Advanced, Mange Digital IDs, My Digital ID, Add,
Click to create a self signed Digital ID, Continue, fill in the required info, create
Then: Advanced, Mange Digital IDs, My Digital ID, Add, Click Here to Browse for an Existing ID file.
Make sure that View hidden files and folders is ON: Control panel, folder options
Using windows XP I found the new digital ID at: C:/Documents and Settings/yourUSERNAME/Application Data/Adobe/Acrobat/6.0/Security
After pointing Adobe to the ID I could then sign as that ID. If you use a more secure third party signature then you'll probably have to talk to the company that manages your signatures.Unregistered Guest
