Simple 3 column table. Fixed height? - Macromedia Dynamic HTML

Dear All, I have a really simple question. I have a three column template. Left, body and middle. I would like to fix the height of the table, so if the content of the body exceeds my height dimension a scroll bar will appear for the body column. Is this possible? Many Thanks, Peter...

    Peter,
    That short answer is, yes that is possible. What you need to do though is
    create a form and set a text area like this:

    <form name="form1" method="post" action="">
    <label>
    <textarea name="textarea">PLACE TEXT HERE</textarea>
    </label>
    </form>

    From here you can also set up the ammount of lines it will take before it
    begins to scroll. This is very easy to find out how to do once you have set up
    your form. Go to INSERT -> FORM -> TEXTAREA.

    Let me know if this is enought to get you started.

    Good luck!

    It is not possible to force a scrollbar in a table cell reliably. It is
    possible to use other elements that can drop scrollbars, however. For
    example, place a fixed height div into the table cell with the CSS style
    overflow:scroll, and you'll get what you want.

    Such designs are not so user friendly, though.
