No such thing in any version of Illustrator.

    Richard,

Illustrator is a single-page application. By using Page-tiling you can
create multiple page printed output from a single doent, but that's it.

Or if you have full Acrobat, you can apply two Illustrator files to make a multi-page PDF. Or you can make two layers, with each "page" being a layer, or you can make an enlarged custom layout (11x17) which can then be printed as two pages (tiled). But as many other topics have answered on this (see Search on Multiple Pages), Illustrator has no version that'll make two pages without something like Hot Door's multi-page plug in.

Is this Hot Door plug in effective and worth the money?

    Latchet,

Some swear by the HotDoors plug-in. I believe they have a downloadable demo, so you can judge for yourself. But be forewarned: it does not really add multiple page capability to AI; it automates the workaround of using Layers as "pages."

And I'd advise using either full Acrobat or InDesign to make Illustrator (Plus) multipage doents if you need them.
