Default Simple query re: Print, colour and paper settings

I am running Indesign 2.0. I am a newbie. I want to know about paper size settings, colour settings, bleeds and getting my work printed.

If I want the final piece (a brochure) to be A4, and I want the colour to go all the way to the edge, what settings should I set? The printers have specified a 2mm bleed, does this mean I should set my paper size to 301 mm x 214mm (larger than A4). And where in Indesign should I change these settings?

The printers have also specified CMYK colour settings. Do I need to change any settings in Indesign to ensure that the brochure uses CMYK? And if so, where and how do I do this?

A little or a lot of help would be most appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Steven

Set the document size to the final size. Just stretch everything that's
going to bleed 2mm over the edge of the page.

As for color, just make sure that you are only using CMYK colors and if
you're using any transparency that your blend space is set to CMYK.
