simple way?
What is the most simple way to install all libraries required for
development? Is SUSE you simply check the the selection and the rest is
taken care of. How is it done here? I am sick and tired getting errors of
missing libraries when trying to install something.

I would check if you have put all repositories in /etc/apt/sources.list
then "sudo apt-get update"
hope this helps. If not, provide more info
