Simplify Tool
Hi,
When drawing two «polygons» sharing a border and then trying to simplify this common border with Object/path/simplify in Illustrator 9 the result consists of two distinct paths ?
How is it possible to simplify the paths identically for both «polygones».
It seems that the simplify tool is not acting in the same way on both side.

The path/simplify command removes points, it does not merge paths.
Try using the pathfinder pallet instead for what you are trying to do.
