Single instance or multiple instances
Say you are creating a site with multiple chat rooms. Would you recommend that
each chat room run its own application instance or should all chat rooms run
under one application instance and use shared objects?
How much additional overhead is there to running lets say 10 application
instances as opposed to running 1 application instance with shared objects?
