Re: Site Critique
Hi Ladyluna,
Reviewed on PC IE5+ and NN7, 512Kbps, Fplayer7
Flash video is fine - distingtive and crisp, but for the length of pre-load
I think you ought to make more of it once you are inside the main site.
1. The header section.
It feels a little cramped up top: a little white space above the very
top maybe? Although this cramped feeling maybe due to point 3 (see below).
2. The 'Our Approach' section....
Why are you using a scroll box? - This is a little irritating as you have
to horizontal and vertical scroll in both NN & IE.
It seems that you are writing this to appear in an envelope-sized window -
if so fine - just format the scrolling content so the user does not need to
horizontal scroll, else get rid of the scoll box.
3. General alignment...
The right-hand edges of you banner image, top nav and text content dont
align - i reckon it'd look better-contained if they did.
The left-hand edges of the main body of text-content, the contact line and
the ©-notice don't align either.... just looks a little untidy.
4. link colours - not so sure about the tone of the green text links - maybe
try to match it to the tone of the section title (that appears under the
horizontal graphic).
And less sure about the red roll-over colour.
Apart from my minor gripes I think your imagery is well presented and tight.
Good luck!
Ed
