site password causing massive delays
It's clear now what the bug is in 2004 mx: site passwords.
I have no idea what controls this but occasionally I am prompted for a site password when opening a file. If that occurs it can take me up to 3 minutes to open a flat jpg file of any size. This is clearly a bug and a real pain.
Is there a work around until this gets fixed?

site password?
Where are you getting this prompt? What do you do to trigger it? Are you
referring to FW2004?

Re: site password causing massive delays
Do the passwords contain any non alpha-numeric characters such as @, $, #,
%, & or !?
Do you have any problems connecting from within Dreamweaver?
