Site relative or document relative links prob.
Hi everyone, I have currently developed a new site within a sub directory of a site. I have used document relative links to test the site online within the sub-directory. I am now wondering how best to move the site into the root of the site. I am assuming my links are going to be messed up.
Is it just a matter of changing the site definition to root as opposed to sub directory. My site def looks like this (or similar to this)
Site name: My site
Local root c:\inetpub\wwwroot\Mysite
http address: www.mysite.com/subdirectory
Remote info starting directory : /subdirectory/
Contribute remote folder www.mysite.com/subdirectory
rest of definition is there but you dont need it.
I am running on IIS so does anyone know if I can mask the fact that I am running within a sub directory? (Assuming I dont change any links etc..)
Regards,
Paul Anthony
