Site worked in Contribute 2 but not in 3

I have been using Contribute 2 to administer my sites quite successfully for
awhile. I finally upgraded to Contribute 3 and added some users in Contribute 3
and we were good to go. Everyone was able to edit pages and update. I went
back and edited some pages in Contribute 2 (I have both versions on my laptop)
and now no one can edit anything with any versions of Contribute 3. ????
Sugestions? None of my users can access the site to update at this point and
when I start Contribute 3 it says I don't have permission to access the site.
and I"m the administrator. I can still access the site with Contribute 2.
