Sizing Pasteboard?
Is there setting to resize the pastboard or display 4, 2 page spreads on each? (InDesign 2.0.2) Since Indesign 1.0 this has drived me wacky since I have to scroll all over the place.

Re: Sizing Pasteboard?
Hmmm... well you can't really display multiple spreads on the pasteboard. You can press CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+0 and get thumbnail view, where you can see multiple spreads on screen. Does that help?

Re: Sizing Pasteboard?
I wasn't aware of the ctrl-alt combination but that does the same as my wheel on the wheel mouse. I did a search in the forum regarding pasteboard sizing and it seems that although there are a number of complaints that the pasteboards are larger than they need to be, there is no way to adjust the size. I use two page spreads and the pasteboards are large enough to put four of them on one! Thats a major waste of real estate.
It would be nice if the Adobe folks would address this on their next revision.

David:
Have you tried Edit/Preferences.../Guides & Pasteboard/ and then enter 0 in Minimum Vertical Offset box?
Cris.

Re: Sizing Pasteboard?
David,
The extra space on the pasteboard is supposed to be used for extra workspace. You can place objects off the page and add them as necessary without cluttering your page. It's nto really wasted if you use it this way.
