sliced menu bar with vertical breaks after text insert? - Macromedia Fireworks

Hello.. I apologize if this topic is listed elsewhere, couldn't find it. I did a prototype in Photoshop, imported it over to Fireworks, and then switched over to Dreamweaver to put in text.. but find that the menu bar on the left breaks apart when the text flows over the png max height. Is there a way to compensate? The url is below: http://www.newhopefellowship.org/dev/index.html Regards, Thanks....

Is the menu separate from to content space? If you exported the menu and
placed it into the same table, as you add content the menu images will break
apart because the table grows as you add text but the menu is of fixed size.

The are a number ways to compensate for this, but it has to be done in your
HTML editor, not Fireworks. You could put the menu in its own table inside
of a <td> tag. This will separate the menu from the content table and won't
allow any expantion as you add more text.

    This tech note may help:

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. I found several ways to compensate, such as converting tables to layers, but found your suggestion to be very helpful. I setup Fireworks to allow nested tables and my layout renders correctly. Thanks^^.
