Slideshow extension loops same pics

Hi everyone Hope someone can help me with this. I have an anxious client
breathing down my neck. I'm working on a real estate website. 6 locations are
highlighted. Each location has an associated gallery of pix associated with it.
I purchased this Dreamweaver extension: v2xmlflashslideshow It seems very easy
to use. My problem is that there doesn't seem to be a way to identify the
different xml files so what's happening is that the same slide show is being
loaded over and over again for each location. I have an email in to support
but today is a holiday and I need an answer asap. Does anyone have any
familiarity with this? thanks, art

Can you post a link to the extension's home page? There are a number of flash slide show extensions.

What exactly to you mean by "identify the different xml files"?

How many xml files do you have, and how will you determine which ones are shown and when are they shown?

Can you post a URL to a page that has a movie on it, and then another page that references a different movie?

I'd think that using server side processing shoud allow you to dynamically spit out the proper XML all through one file, or allow you to change the xml file that is referenced. Do you have access to server side processing and if so, what can you use?

Actually, I just bought this extension too for my site:

In the code, you'll see the reference to the XML . It seems like you could
easily duplicate this XML doc & change the name / reference to it. Your
'wizard' functions will likely screw you up, but this XML is easy to edit.

I bet you could even create a new show and change the XML reference. If DW is
'too smart', make a new local site for each instance that you want to use the
slideshow, then drop-in all of the final parts by hand. This sounds like allot
of work, but I know how automated this extension is. It will want to put the
code in the root "v2flashslideshow" directory.
