Default Slow Connections and Guard Pages

    Hi folks.

We have a few sites hosted externally from our organisation, which we have
used Contribute to update occassionally. Unfortunately, everything seems to
have slowed right down. I've read the postings about the '8 minute claim' but
changing proxies is not making a blind bit of difference. Does anyone know if
there's a way of logging what Contribute is doing and if there's any way to
make sense of this? I can FTP the files manually in seconds so it's not a case
    of a slow network.

Also, one of my sites just cannot find the index.asp guard page? I watch
contribute trying it but it doesn't bring anything back?

This shouldn't be a difficult product to use but it seems to be driving people
    nuts.

Any ideas? I might even tell you a joke if you help me.

Default Re: Slow Connections and Guard Pages

    Ha Ha!

    I got it.

Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Check the Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections. It doesn't seem to be enabled by default.

    Ya beauty!
