Slow NAS (unix based) access with CFMX on IIS2006/W2k3
I have 2 cfmx7 servers running behind a load balancer with a shared codebase on
a NAS (infrant ReadyNas). This NAS is unix based
When i look at the the execution times compared to a local codebase, the
performance is terrible. (factor 8x slower)
I've read some things about running cfmx as service under an account which has
access to the unc share. But since we're talking about windows vs unix., it
won't work (improved performance, that is)
Does someone have a clue on how to improve performance ??
details:
2 w2k3 servers iis60 > cfmx on jrun4 >connected to a share
"\\192.168.0.xxx\myCrappyWebsite\" in IIS with the proper windows credentials.1 NAS which has full control for 'Everyone'> no domain controllers etc . its a workgroup
cfmx details: save class files on + trusted cache on
