Re: Small dots Effect
One more thing, just so you don't waste an hour or two on trying to figure out how to use it, like I do on most things, after you download the file, which takes about 1.2 seconds, copy the dot pattern to your Photoshop "preset pattern folder." It then becomes a preset that you can use on any image that you make. It actually looks pretty cool. I may use it one day too. Terry

Re: Small dots Effect
Rubbino,
Sorry about this, looks like that download isn't always on that page. You should be able to go right to the download itself by going to
<http://share.studio.adobe.com/axAssetDetailSubmit.asp?aID=6190&back=http%3A%2F%2 Fshare%2Estudio%2Eadobe%2Ecom%2FaxLGSubmit%2Easp%3 Fr%3D0%26pgsel1%3D2>
Just click where it says download. When the window comes up, right click and tell the machine where to send it. Your desktop, or some folder, or where ever. Terry :chagrin:

Re: Small dots Effect
It looks like they're using a grid - not a dot.
to create a grid is simple - just create a small white cross, with a black background. with the square marquee, select the white cross - then go to edit>define pattern.
either apply that pattern to a new layer using blending modes to blend with your underlying layer, or apply that pattern to the layer that you want to affect.
