SmartNavigation - ASP.NET General

Hi Can anyone explain when to use SmartNagivation, and when not to?? Why not have it enabled for all pages? I have tried it on a test page, and it works fine. However, it starts to report "out of memory in line 2" after a few clicks. Any ideas?? Thanks...

    Default Smartnavigation

    Hi all,

Having a slight problem with Smartnavigation. It is a requirement that our
site uses it, however because of the way pages are loaded (by loading
controls into a place holder on the home page), when a user navigates
between "pages" (i.e. controls) IE scrolls them down to where they last
    access the previous control.

This can also be seen with validation controls... the page will not scroll
up to a validation summary if you page has errors on it when you do a
    postback - it's a real pain!

Does anyone know of a solution to this problem? i.e. how to override
    smartnavigation's scrolling?

    Martin
