snap distance > pick distance impossible?
In the General Preferences, I tried to set the value for the pick distance to
1, and the snap distance to 5, but after several tries (and thinking my changes
weren't saved) I noticed that the pick distance can never be greater than the
snap distance. Greater pick distances will be reverted back to the snap
distance.
Anyone knows whether or not this on purpose or just strange behavior?
tnx,
Ton

Re: snap distance > pick distance impossible?
Ton,
The snap distance cannot be larger than the pick distance. This is working
as designed. The reason given by MM is that if the snap distance is larger
than the pick distance, some points that are close together would become
difficult or impossible to pick/select.
Since it's impossible to actually try working with a larger snap distance
than pick distance in shipping versions of FH, we'll have to take their word
for it.
