I have downloaded a PDF membership form that contains two types of "interactive form fields". The first type is single lines for name, address, etc. These fields are highlighted in grey and I can type in them. The font appears as Times (or possibly Courier).
The second type is a box for free-form entry. It allows you to type paragraphs of data and scrolls automatically when the text overflows. These boxes are not highlighted in grey. The type appears as Myriad.
Both these types show a blue highlight when I click on the Highlight Fields check box.

When I save the form (Save or Save As), it retains all my entries in the second box type, but does not preserve my typing in the first kind of field. When I re-open the document the fields are blank again. I am using Acrobat Professional 7.0.8. Document properties says the original form was produced in Adobe Designer 7.0.

Any ideas what's happening? Is there anything I can do at my end, or is it a badly designed form?
