Something Aint Right !!!!
I dont understand why after downloading FP 9 I am still asked on certain
websites to install FP 8 and wont allow me to go anyfarther. I am using Win Xp
pro. on an out dated P3 700 Mhz proc, if that means anything to the
problem/solution.

Hi Eagleheart75,
Are you able to view Flash content on some website, but not others? If so,
this sounds like more of a Flash Player detection schema. Is Flash Player
detected on the following page?

Please check to see if you have all the following registry keys on your system:
Select Start >Run and type in ?regedit?.
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.1
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.3
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.4
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.5
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.6
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.7
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.8
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.9

Re: Something Aint Right !!!!
Thanks for taking the time to help resolve this issue. This was not a detection
issue but it was a Windows System Registry issue solved using SubInACL.
