Ever since I've upgraded to Freehand MXa 11.0.1 and OSX10.3 I have routinely
had problems with files becoming corrupt. It only seems to happen when I use
the new filters (blur, glow, transparency...etc). The major problem here is
that the file works fine when I'm creating it. But when I save it and return to
it later, Freehand crashes continuously when I try to open the file. I've tried
restarting, repairing permissions, disk first aid...the whole drill and still
nothing. This has become a serious problem for me as I am now afraid to use any
of Freehands new features for fear of corruption. I am sometimes able to open
the files in Fireworks, but that's hit or miss.
Anyone have any resolutions to this?
