Default specifying a node to expand in cftree

Using ColdFusion 7, is there a way to tell a Flash formatted cftree control to
    open to a specific node?

I can retrieve a selected node using form.treename.path, but how do I specify
the path that should be open when I first arrive at the tree control? Is that
    even possible?
