I lost spell check in outlook express after removing
microsoft picture it. how can I get it back

Recently upgraded to MS XP (Home Edition) using Office
97. When composing email in outlook express and want to
use the spell checker, a message appears stating "an
error has occurred while the spelling was being checked".
Prior to the upgrade, I used Windows 98 and it worked
fine. I have the "Check spelling" on. Any suggestions for
getting it to work. Ted

Check if Office 97 is compatable with XP.
Reinstall Office 97

Start/Run/EXPAND X:\i386\CSAPI3T1.DL_ C:\CSAPI3T1.DLL (Where X is your
CD-Rom drive letter). And then copy it to: Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\Proof.

Go to Help - select Detect and Repair
This will do a repair installation of Word (assuming you're using
V2000-V2002)

I would like to add a "Check Spelling" button to certain text boxes...or is there already a means of doing so?
