Sql Image Data - Microsoft SQL / MS SQL Server

Greg, Assume for simplistics that I have a Table called ClassifiedAds and another called BannerAds, which both need images. I have to have a ClassifiedAdID (Nullable) and a BannerAdID (Nullable) in the IMAGES table so that I know what image record belongs to what record in the parent table. I have multiple tables pointing to a central IMAGES table instead of having a table called ClassifiedAdImages and another called BannerAdImages. See the dimlemma?? Please reply. Thanks, Peter *** Sent via Developersdex http://www.developersdex.com *** Don't just participate in USENET...get rewarded for it!...

Peter,
I have a head cold at the moment so things are a bit slow.
I still don't see why you need multiple keys . The image table had one key.
This can be used an any number of other tables ie ClassifiedAds and/or
BannerAds. I don't see why you need multiple keys. In plan text an image
can belong to many BannerAds and ClassifiedAds

regards
