SQL querry vs Access qry - Microsoft SQL / MS SQL Server

I don't believe I've ever successfully answered a question in a SQL newsgroup, since I'm just stepping up to SQL Server as of the past few months, but what the hell. If I'm wrong, please forgive me. :] From SQL Server BOL: IIF does exist: IIf Returns one of two numeric or string values determined by a logical test. I don't believe I've ever successfully answered a question in a SQL
newsgroup, since I'm just stepping up to SQL Server as of the past few
months, but what the hell. If I'm wrong, please forgive me. :]

    From SQL Server BOL:

    IIF does exist:

    IIf
Returns one of two numeric or string values determined by a logical test.
    Examples

    Numeric
The following example returns 0 if Measures.CurrentMember is an empty cell,
    1 otherwise:
    IIf(IsEmpty(Measures.CurrentMember), 0, 1)

    String
The following string returns the string "Yes" if Measures.CurrentMember is
an empty cell, the string, "No" otherwise:
    IIf(IsEmpty(Measures.CurrentMember), "Yes", "No")
