    Csaran
Look at BOL for "Troubleshooting Deadlocks"

    Default Sql Server Deadlock

    Hello,

The problem here is that you will need to determine what
other transaction / process is blocking your transaction.

After that there are 101 ways of dealing with it from
changing your code, to setting you transaction priority to
    high.

However you will first need to know what its blocking and
    why.

    Arun Replies:

Make the isolation level appropriate to your application
so that there is no deadlock

Go to books online and check on topic transaction
    isolation level

Why did you set it to Serializable? IS that required? If not then set it
to read committed. If it is then you need to have the creators of the
package change their lousy code to work with multiple users. Again most
likely they are updating the same tables but in different orders.
